5.9.16: National – (Politics): How cool would it be if Mr. Jim Ross, the former WWF/E color commentator who was famous for zealously over-selling the action in the squared circle, did play-by-play for the Republican presidential primary? Can you imagine how animated Mr. Ross would’ve been last week when announcing that Mr. Donald Trump, who has history with WWF/E, was the last candidate standing?

“Donald Trump! Donald Trump! My GOD! The Brash Billionaire overshadowed more than a dozen candidates to become the presumptive Republican nominee. I never thought I’d see the day! Anything can happen here in the U.S of A!,” Mr. Ross might have said if given the chance, on behalf of Republicans, to call the action on the campaign trail.

What WWE, who for years has been the largest contributor to the Donald Trump Foundation, has does well is develop monikers for its superstars. Razor Ramon, played by Mr. Scott Hall, had “The Bad Guy,” Shawn Michaels, portrayed by Mr. Michael Hickenbottom, was “The Heartbreak Kid” and Mr. Chris Beniot, who murdered his family and then killed himself, was “The Canadian Crippler.”

Current superstars, too, have cool monikers. Ruzev, a heel character billed from Bulgaria, is referred to as “The Bulgarian Brawler” and Dean Ambrose, whose character is somewhat similar to Mr. Brian Pillman’s in the late 90s, is “The Lunatic Fringe.”

What would Mr. Trump’s WWE-like monikers be? The media is already using – and sometimes over using – “The Brash Billionaire” and one late-show comic selected the label “The Tangerine Terror” to describe Mr. Trump. For a guy so animated, polarizing and down-right controversial, there has to be a million or so monikers one could come up with. So here are 10 original monikers, inspired by WWE, voters and pundits alike can use to describe the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

  1. The Dastardly Demagogue
  2. The Billionaire Blowhard
  3. The Polarizing Politico
  4. The Right-Wing Rebel
  5. The Narcissistic Nominee
  6. The Racist Republican
  7. The Cavalier Candidate
  8. The Insulting Irritant
  9. The Media Manipulator
  10. The Whiner
