The 2016 NCAA March Madness comes to a close with the Final Four and Championship in Houston! In the Final Four this year is 1 North Carolina (32-6), 2 Villanova (33-5), 2 Oklahoma (29-7), and 10 Syracuse (23-13). Check out the ways Houston is celebrating an exciting season of college basketball from Friday, April 1st through Monday, April 4th.

Final Four Friday

WHEN: Friday, April 1st from 11 AM to 6 PM

WHERE: NRG Stadium, One Reliant Parkway, Houston, TX

Final Four Friday is fun for the entire family, and admission is FREE. Check out each of the Final Four teams in their final open practice before Saturday’s national semifinals. The event is highlighted with special programming and tributes throughout the practices. The event will also feature a new court projection provided by REZIN8.

The afternoon is topped off by the Reese’s College All-Star Game, where the Nation’s best Division I seniors showcase their skills one final time.

Final Four Fan Fest

WHEN: Friday, April 1st through Monday, April 4th

The Final Four Fan Fest is for fans of all ages. Fan Fest is a festival within a festival. The event is jam packed with youth clinics, giveaways, concerts, interactive games, special appearances, autograph signings, and much more.

March Madness Music Festival

WHEN: Friday, April 1st  through Sunday, April 3rd

Friday, April 1st from 4 to 10 PM
Saturday, April 2nd from noon to 9 PM
Sunday, April 3rd from 3 to 10 PM

WHERE: Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney Street, Houston, TX

The March Madness Music Festival is a FREE, outdoor festival of live music, food, and fun.

Friday’s show will include erformances by Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, and Lukas Graham.
Saturday’s show will include performances by Twenty One Pilots, Jason Derulo, and Conrad Sewell.
Sunday’s show will include performances by Maroon 5, Pitbull, Flo Rida, and Aloe Blacc.

Villanova vs Oklahoma

WHEN: Saturday, April 2nd at 6:09 PM

WHERE: NRG Stadium, One Reliant Parkway, Houston, TX

2 Villanova Wildcats (33-5) played 2 Oklahoma Sooners (29-7) for a spot in the Championship. Villanova won 95-51.

North Carolina vs Syracuse

WHEN: Saturday, April 2nd at 8:49 PM

WHERE: NRG Stadium, One Reliant Parkway, Houston, TX

1 North Carolina Tar Heels (32-6) played 10 Syracuse Orange (23-13) for a spot in the Championship. North Caroline won 83-66.

Championship Game

WHEN: Monday, April 4th at 9:19 PM

WHERE: NRG Stadium, One Reliant Parkway, Houston, TX

1 North Carolina Tar Heels(33-6) played 2 Villanova Wildcats (34-5) for the title of National Champion! Villanova won the title 77-74.
