2.15.16: National – (Politics): “You can be unapologetically anything else in America, but when you’re unapologetically black it causes backlash,” said Mr. Rodney Kellum of Atlanta during a live broadcast of The Dr. Vibe Show’s Sunday evening black male round-table. In the wake of the both the support for, and outrage towards, Beyonce’s SuperBowl Performance and video of ‘Formation,’ Mr. Kellum, Mr. Galen D. Bingham, a Missouri author, and I analyzed whether the video was pro-black or anti-police. Additional topics and stories covered during the ‘Do You Know What Time It Is?’ broadcast was whether or not Ms. Hillary Clinton deserves the black vote and America’s extreme need for more black teachers.
