The Food Network’s popular food reality show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives features the nation’s best eateries. Hosted by celebrity restaurateur Guy Fieri, the show follows Guy as he travels the country scouting out the best grub in America.

Did you know that Houston has been a stop on the show not once, not twice, but FIVE times?! Check out which of your favorite Houston diners, drive-ins, and dives made Guy Fieri’s list.

Café Pita: 10890 Westheimer Rd

Specialty Dishes: Fried Cheese, Fried Anchovies, Lamb Shank, Sarma, Cevap, Spinach Burek

Started by a couple of guys from Bosnia, Café Pita serves up all of your favorite mom-inspired classics. From the appetizers, to your entrée, to dessert, your stomach is sure to feel right at home.

Kenny and Ziggy’s: 2327 Post Oak Blvd

Specialty Dishes: Corned Beef, Kreplach, Ziggy’s Kasha Varnishkas

If you’re looking for a great sandwich, swing by Kenny & Ziggy’s, the New York-style deli that’s making all the classics. You’ll find Yiddish favorites, such as Mishmosh soup and 10-ounce pastrami sandwiches, plus the eight-decker mother of all deli sandwiches called The Zellagabetsky.

Lankford Grocery and Market: 88 Dennis St

Specialty Dishes: Burgers, Texas Chicken Hash

If you’re interested in “licking the volcano out of Flavortown,” order Lankford’s Firehouse Burger basted with cayenne butter and loaded with hot-sauce mustard. Also, check out their 12 bold burger specialties and daily lunch specials like the Chicken Fried Steak and Texas Hash.

Niko Niko’s: 2520 Montrose Blvd

Specialty Dishes: Moussaka, Gyros, Guy’s Honey Ballz: Loukomades

At Niko Niko’s, the flavor-packed leg of lamb with potatoes is “one of the most lemon-forward lamb shanks” you’ll ever have. Other favorite dishes include the classic moussaka and hearty gyros. Be sure to try the pita bread, as this little joint’s cranking out 12,000 pitas a day.

The Red Lion Pub: 2316 S Shepherd Dr

Specialty Dishes: Shepherd’s Pie, Chicken Tikka Masala

Red Lion owner Craig Mallinson says true English pubs should serve the long-ignored U.K. staple: Indian food. Red Lion caters to both cuisines. Try the tasty chicken tikka masala. If you’re still craving the British classics, the lamb shepherd’s pie is a perfect dish for a cold day.
